I will keep it. I do not know who it belongs to, unless it has address and other details on it. Then I will return it to the rightful owner. I will expect a small reward though....

If it had no ID, then ya I would keep it. That sounds rather dishonest, but I see it more like I was destined to receive the money.
Besides, anyone who can afford to carry around an envelope full of money would be rich enough to cover the loss of it.

Hi, The right thing to do is to find the owner, and if you can't find them, then give 50% to charity, and give away the rest...its not good to take free money home, something wierd always happens, You end up losing 3 time more then what you found or receive if you keep it for yourself...Peace be with you..

I did find an envelop full with money...almost $400, in a parking garage where I used to work. I asked our receptionist to contact other offices in the building to see whether someone who also worked there may have dropped it. They did; she gave me a $20 finder's fee...which I accepted, but donated to my church.

I would invest it in the bank and the interest would be multiplied through investing in nasdaq. Some percent from the profit i would give to an organization who help the orphans and unpriviledged kids who want to complete their education.

if it was about 20 dollars and under i would probably keep it, but if it was like 7000 or so i would take it t the cops or whatever ad if no one claims it they usually let you keep it, but honestly if i had an envolope of money, i wouldnt leave it lying around for someone to get it,lol

I would ask a police officer first to see if he can find anyone who lost it, turn it into the Police Department and if after 30 days no one claims it it is yours.

I would go shopping and to the spa. two things i love to do that i cant always afford. maybe i would donate a little of it, too, good karma.
