Definitely internal. There are so many people who judge others from what's on the outside, when there's really a gold mine on the inside. Besides, I'd never want some one who's really good looking, I'd be jealous and wouldn't want to cope with the come-ons and such that come with good looks. Find someone you can really get to know. If they have the internal beauty, the external doesn't matter. If they aren't "gorgeous" you don't have to worry so much about losing them.....

For the first time there has to be a physical attraction but internal beauty can make someone physically attractive as well.

internal beauty. Physical beauty is only skin deep. Once the new wears off, physical beauty will mean nothing. You want someone who you can connect with on more than just a physical level.

in all honesty, i think both are important when having a relationship with someone. physical beauty is what typically starts the attraction. internal beauty is what you fall in love with... however, if i had to choose just one, it would be internal... i'd rather be with someone not deemed "beautiful" by society who is an amazing person than some hot asshole.

There has to be some sort of physical attration upon meeting/talking/dating but the physical attration can come from internal beauty. It is true that external beauty expires but that doesn't mean that your physical attraction to someone does also.

Internal is definitely the more important of the two, but physical attraction is necessary as well.

Internal. The outer beauty cannot be relied on. Time changes everything, it's what is on the inside, that stays the same.

At first physical and then after a very short period of time we start to see through that-I think a woman often wants to feel looked after in a relationship and to feel like the most perfect and most beautiful woman and a man wants a women who can be a glorified mother-and look like a porn star!!!!
No obviously not everyone-I would like to find my best friend-someone who "gets me"...not many people do! Their look needs to reflect that but not be the reason why I like them....I like someone who is down to earth and fun-they need to look like those things!!!

note: your post would be easier to read if you spelled out the words

Re: your question...both would be super, the whole "package" so to speak...but attraction has to be there (at least for me) but that doesn't always = their appearance...I have to be attracted to them whether it's due to how they look or just because there's some chemistry there that causes me to want to know more about them, and think about them frequently, even if they normally wouldn't be someone I'd give a second glance to if I passed on the street...

If there is chemistry, and they are a groovy person on the inside, then it's on (from my perspective)...they MUST be someone special on the inside however...outer appearance is less important, but the spark/chemistry must be there or no matter how wonderful they are, nothing romantic will develop...

Internal beauty. Looks will fade in time.
