I've known a lot of hockey players, several of whom are still in the NHL. I've also known a couple of lesser actors, but we weren't great friends or anything.
The athletes I've known have all been pretty good guys.

my friends used to work in Colin Farrells godfathers bar, saw Colin a good bit, he went out with one of the waitresses there! everyone is connected to everyone.
