Ladies, please explain why you wouldnt or would let high gas prices stop you from putting your loving around your man

If you live miles away and havee to drive to get to your loved one. or if its your only mode of transportation or for whatever reason you use a vehicle to get to your loved one.

when me and my husband were dating, we lived about 30 minutes from each other.
we had plans to go out on sept 11, 2001. i waited in line at the gas station for 1 hr and paid 2.75 for gas (which was a huge mark-up at the time) to get gas to go see him.
so no, gas prices didn't stop me!
