She tore her labrum last year. She had to have surgery. When you get labrum surgery there is a lot of rehab needed. She may never return to top form. Believe me. My dad tore is labrum. It wasn't a small tear. 75 - 80% of it was hanging. He had surgery and still has shoulder pain. He can't throw a baseball or football as far as he used to, but he can still throw well because he is a tough guy.

She is not retired, but given injury ranking of 10, expiring in Nov. 6, 2006

She has had extensive shoulder surgery.......

Yes, it was mentioned above that she had shoulder surgery, she has also had surgery on both wrists as well in the last couple of years. It's tragic, we may never see her play again.

She still injured

God!! I still remember how shocking that she grabbed the Australian Open and French Open in the same year for her first return to court.
