It is a brand new phone. It just seems like it takes forever for the light to come on when I flip it open. I just had it replaced because I wasn't getting signal with my old phone, and this new one takes longer than my old one did. I was just curious. Thanks!

No, that's not normal. When you open your phone, it's usually to call someone or find something, right? Who ever opens a phone to stare at a dark screen? Get it checked by the dealer =)

Go through your menu to settings and check your display and what the back ground lighting is set on...there may be a delay on the default..

yeah i am having trouble with my new phone to . v3 motorolla. i was going to throw it at the wall the other day . it is really playing up on me.
