Yes, you *could* be pregnant, but being dizzy or nauseous and losing your appetite has nothing to do with it.

Assuming that you did conceive on the 15th, there is *no* possible way you could have any signs of pregnancy. Once you ovulate, it takes at least about a week for the fertilized egg to reach the uterus and start implanting; until implantation, it is *not* attached to your body in any way, so it can't cause any physical changes. After implantation, it takes at least a couple of days for the newly-implanted zygote to produce enough HCG (the hormone detected in pregnancy tests) to create any of the signs of pregnancy.

But...on what basis do you think you ovulated on 15 July. If you are basing this on the old wive's tale that "everyone ovulates on day 14 of her cycle", then you could be *way* off. A woman ovulates about 2 weeks (usually 12-16 days) before her *next* period. So if you have very short cycles (24 days, for instance), it is possible that you ovulated before you thought you would...and then the things you mentioned *could* be signs of pregnancy.

In any case, please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will give you accurate information about how your body works and let you know what you can do if you're *not* pregnant to increase your chances next time; and if you *are* pregnant, then congratulations...but I still suggest you read the book!!

Way too soon to tell!! it takes about 8-10 days for the egg to implant if fertilization has ocurred. Then, after egg has implanted it will take about other 10 days for a test to show positive. Premenstrual symptoms are the same as early pregnancy symptoms, including vomit, nausea, dizziness big appetite or non appetite. Ovulation symptoms can be also the same as premestrual symtoms so it might have just been that you ovulated on the 16th.

To answer your question, yes you might have concieved if you had sex during your ovulation time, but you have to give it time. Test around the time you would be getting your next menstruation.

There is a chance you could be pregnant. On average a fertilized egg takes 6 to 12 days to go from your fallopian tube (where it is fertilized by the sperm) to the uterus where it will implant itself. Your symptoms seem to be a little too soon but there is always a possibility. Dizziness and nausea are signs of pregnancy but they may also be something else. Take a pregnancy test around the 2nd of August (the next time your period is due). Try First Response or EPT.

I would recommend (if you haven't yet) go get a home pregnancy test and try that. They're not 100%, but it may give you an indication.

I'm also told that your doctor's tests are more accurate, no matter what claims the HPT boxes claim. So if you're still feeling the way you are after the HPT, make an appt. with your doc.

Take a home pregnancy test, follow the instructions, and see what happens. If it comes back negative, and you still think you are pregnant, wait a couple of weeks and repeat the test. If you are still not sure, whatever the outcome go to the doctor, who will do a blood test which is much more reliable.

Best of luck trying for your baby! :)

Wait a few days and take a home pregnancy test...you wouldn't be "sick" from being pregnant this soon, but it could be your hormones saying..oh my god...i'm pregnant....the test wont tell you for sure but take it...then see a doctor! Best of Luck + Congrats!!

It would be too soon to tell if you are preg. If you a worried call the doc. wait until you have missed your period to take a test. It will be more accurate.

Sounds Good, but you'll never get to the truth here. Go back to your doctor, or try one of those home pregnancy tests, & if it's not too premature. CONGRATULATIONS!
