My brother is schizophrenic. He's always had anger issues and been in and out of jail and boy's schools. He's always been SUPER paranoid, you know, everyone is out to get him and his family and he trusts no one. He has more episodes where he completely shuts down, like, becomes catatonic, won't talk or eat or drink for days...and he becomes really attached to my mom, he'll just follow her around everywhere, even to sleep. It's strange and disturbing, more upsetting I guess when he has his episodes.

It scared he so deeply she says until he gets help she wants nothing more to do with him. Our mother does not help the situation either. He is one of her favorites, along with the sister I just mentioned and she tells him there is nothing wrong with him that the voices he hears are his guardian angels!! What crap is that? So, we are helpless to assist him in the face of all this. I feel for any who has a loved one afflicted with this brain disorder. It is a brain disorder too, brains with schizophrenia show up on brain scans as vastly different than brains without this disease.
