Just saying in the offseason the Yankees should trade Hideki Madsui to the Houston Astros for Andy Pettitte or Roy Oswalt because Melky Cabrera will be the future for the Yankees along with Robinson Cano

I appreciate you helping The Tigers.
Must have been that 5 run homer you hit in the extra period.
(just kidding, man!)
Seriously, I was hoping that would happen---but never thought it would.
The Tigers need a left handed bat....but David Dombrowski is not willing to give up all the good prospects we have in our farm system.
I think The Tigers stay put...we have a good mix of veterans and young 'uns...plus the team chemistry is at an all time high... dont fix what aint broke.
oh the yankees....yeah...go out and do whatever you always do....buy another player and hope it works.

The YANKEES still have everyone running scared I see.
It was an awesome sweep of White Sox this weekend! That was fun.
I have No idea what the heck we got Ponson for. That one blows me away, but we definately need some pitching and I would rather Matsui never come back.
Since it is a trading NOT buying I doubt Steinbrenner and his wallet needs to be in this discussion.

lol, as usual the Yankees will go out and buy another overrated player for an unbelievably high price. Joe Borowski fits that bill pretty well. (although I like Borowski...just don't think he's going to make the Yankees a whole lot better)

As someone else mentioned, they may not need any help. But if they do trade, I think they'd be better off going after a pitcher.
I loved this weekend: Sweeping the supposed best teamin the AL and watching the Sux lose their series to the A's. Fantastic!

I believe we are good. We just signed Sidney Ponson late last week... I believe he'll help out the pitching staff... he is still a good pitcher... I believe he'll do better than Randy Johnson is doing ( then again Johnson has started to pick it back up ) so you never know... but to answer you question... I believe we're fine, but I do think Brian Cashmen will try and pick someone up in the trade market.

Don't think we need anyone really the young guys are doing great filling in and Matsui and Sheff will be back later in the year. The only spot we may need help would be relief the bullpen is getting worn down if we could get a nice righty out there to join Villone, Myers and Rivera who are doing good I think that will help out greatly.

I dont know why everyone is so happy about Ponson, hes probably just as good as jared wright plus hes fat. Who we really need is Soriano from the Nats. Hes a big bat we could use in our lineup right now with Shefield and Matsui out. And who gives a shi about The white sox and tigers, lets just blow out the red sox in the east.

Abreu and Liebber from the Phillies would do the Yankees nicely!
