i'm 17/f.. i generally use a hair removal cream .. for pubic hair down there.. but thats jus d upper part.. i'v got hair.. beyond dat as well.. like on d vagina lips n stuff.. so now i'v started choppin em wit scissors.. is that ok ? safE?

sorry if anyone finds it disgusting.. i do too.. but i had to ask this. .n' i'm too scared to use a razor.. so i stick wit creams.. oh and.. duz everyone have hair down there.. ??

That is fine, but be careful.
Many women have what is called a brazilian wax, which removes all of the hair in the area, but can be embarrassing to go get one.
A razor is fine, but again, you will have to be careful.
You are allowed to trim your hair, shave it, or wax it. It is no one elses business what you do with you hair!!!
My first girlfriend started waxing and trimming herself because she liked the look and it felt more comfortable. Like you, she wasnt sure whether it was right or safe because we were both young, but thats normal.
Its always hard to decide whether you are doing the 'normal' or 'right' thing, coz its not like you can go asking everyone in the street!!!
But.... if it doesnt hurt you, and doesnt hurt anyone else, I can't understand why anyone would think it was wrong.
You could wax instead, its really up to you what is easiest, most comfortable etc. If you want it smooth and totally hair free, waxing would probably be the best.

I wouldnt do it with scissors since you can easily cut or nick yourself.
A razor will be far better to use than scissors.
I would like to know why some say how disgusting? Women shave thier legs and under thier arms so why not down there ? Unless you take a shower each time you pee to wash your self off the hairs are disgusting.

Well you have to be careful not to cut yourself obviously. Biologically hair down there help to keep germs and bacteria out by trapping them before they get inside. Keep clean and you shouldn't have a problem. Also take care not to pull any of the hair out by the root because it is possible to tear the follicle and get an infection. Sometimes as with regular shaving you may get a rash so moisturize.

It is very safe to shave, wax or use a hair removal cream as long as you are very careful not to cut yourself. If you do then keep the area clean. I have had my husband do the cutting for me since that is a very difficult area to see. That was the easiest.

I shave down there every so often. Just be sure to use a lot of shaving cream and you should be ok. If you do cut yourself a little, it will heal, but just be careful. But as far as I know it's safe.

Personal hygiene is very important. You are a youngster and should be careful. Try shaving it all off with a razor

yeah, thats fine, just dont cut yourself. you could shave too if you want. or wax. i shave it all. ALL. i hate hair
i dont know if its true or not, but i've come to the conclusion that we as humans dont really need any of our hair anymore. we just havent evolved enough to loose what we have left.
oh yeah, there's laser hair removal too, expensive, but permanent.

I wouldn't recomend scissors, very risky, however it can be done. They do make electric razors that are very gentle and used for this kind of thing.

look i guess its okay but not such a good i dea i love my hair but when i was 9 i cut one part of it short and the other long i kept cutting till my mom came and they had to chop my hair to boy style in the salon!! at school they all called me boylly girl!!! and sometimes i still get called that!!! look if you dont like your hair go to a salon!!! its much safer trust me you dont want to end up with an even worser nickname!!!! it really helps!! and if your going to cut all your hair still go to a salon you probably dont want to hurt youself!! plz dont do anything wrong try to go to a salon!!!

It okay but you need to be careful. i just use a razor and it gets everything.
