I'm not happy atm bcuz I'm in year 12, living with a lousy brother who's a perfectionist + childish + nosy who always makes comments about my life; Theres always mind games and competitions in my school (between the girls, you know). Ok, I have problems smoking and drinking, and money problems as well. And I have problems dealing with weight, and lying to mum and Dad about the money I blow on...well you know...
The happiest time in my life, until now, would be when i was in year 9-10. Those years were golden. I discovered so much about myself. Was in love and out of love. Also I found out a lot of things about community, the way ppl act, the real face behind people. I mean, it was strange, but interesting, and I thought I was an adult yet I was so careless and innocent and I was open to everyone. These times, the only people I hated were my family members, and I loved the outside ppl, LOL.
Now I've kinda become conservative, and felt a bit down. really, racism has reduced a lot but it still exists. ppl compete in life. They'd still smile at you yet jealous and hate you inside and make up stuff about you, you'd never know. World Union will never happen. Your boyfriend/girlfriend will cheat on you. Your friends may be using you ....
Everything can happen.
You'd be happier if you didn't find out about this.

I can think of lots of happy moments, but now I think I don't want to dwell on any moment as the 'happiest". Each new day is a gift with the potential to contain happy moments. I prefer to take each day as it comes, then reflect at the end of the day, what was the happiest moment of THIS day?

I was happiest in college. I had a bad childhood at a small school, where once you get a reputation as the class goat, it sticks to you throughout school. When I went to college, I went to IU, where there are 30,000 students. I found out that there were people who liked me for who I was, and that if there was someone who didn't, I could avoid them. One can never be truly happy in this life. Even if one's existence is a comfortable one, there are many others around him/her who are suffering tremendously. The close connection that each person has with humanity allows that person to feel everyone else's pain. Certainly, there are times when people can have fun, but he/she is not constantly or even truly happy.

Now, because I've learned that my moments of unhappiness are fleeting. So I focus on the happy moments, skipping from one to the other. :)
