My question is experimental/satorical. Someone had just asked the question in reverse (same category) The answers to both questions has been telling, but expected. We are a nation in trouble. Thank you for your answers.

Republicans really are hateful. This is very representative when you watch Fox news and other conservation news media.
They will say something really hateful and then give you that wide toothy republican smile. It is sickening. The democratics are just now learning how to deal with this type of mockery and low handed tactics. I could name names but all of you know the real faces of the Republican party - the one that most comes to mind is Anne Coulter but there are many more that like her and like her ways and like her mouth for more reasons than one.

The same reason Democrats are SO HATEFUL. I see hateful questions and answers from both sides. I'm not either one anymore. To ashamed to be associated with them. Your question alone is the same stereotypical nonsense that the Republicans spout. Both Democrats and Republicans are very hateful. It's a wonder we haven't had another civil war from what I see on Answers alone!!

Indeed, it's telling. It's interesting to see who will pop in and take their shots, and I see a few haven't disappointed.

In any event, as I said in response to the liberal question, generalizations like these are not useful to the debate. They indicate that the asker is either out of intellectual ammo, or responding to something similar from the other side.

Republicans aren't hateful. They're just frustrated at the hate, venom, and illogic of the Liberals who are willing to sacrifice this nation in order to regain their old position of supreme power.

People are hateful. A society can only be as good as the individuals within it, and, unfortunately, there are a lot of selfish, demoralized and ignorant people all over the world. They are not all in the Republican party.

i think both sides of the fence can be hateful. One they see that they can't get anything accomplished because of their partisan politics, they start screaming insults at each other. i believe all career politicians are morons anyway. They can't contribute anything useful to society so they try to go about running it. The people who should be in public office would never even consider running....

Like all right-wing organizations, they must have an enemy to hate in order to justify their existence. If all their enemies disappeared tomorrow, they would break apart and hate each other for not being the right kind of fascist.

I think you may have been misled on this topic, as typically, it would appear that the democrats are more often times more hateful? I'm not sure where you've gotten the impression that Republicans are, perhaps offering additional content may help to clarify your reasoning behind this?

They have to take time out of their busy days to answer questions, with obvious answers. Same for Democrats.
