The days of great American leaders like FDR, JFK, Ronald Reagan and Abe Lincoln are long gone. The values which I still believe in America now are mostly gone or held only by a few really righteous people (I aint talking about Conservatives or Liberals...from my point of view they both suck period.). Well who knows what the future holds...perhaps more great leaders will rise again or at the very least the Yanks start getting more serious with politics again and stop electing morons like Bush and Dean (both sides of the coin are bad).

I have traveled the USA all over in the past three years and I can tell you without a doubt that most people including myself love president Bush. It was only when I came back to New York did I find so many hateful people touting unfounded gripes. These people are in a minority, if you don't think so, you should travel like I have...really!

About 30% of the American people approve of Bush and his policies - the other 70% are intelligent, thinking people who know he's an idiot. Even some of his Republican supporters have turned their back on him because of his policies and the way he's screwing up the country. When history looks back upon the Bush administration, it will be seen as one of the most corrupt, meaningless administrations in the history of this country.

Propaganda in the US differs much more than anywhere else. Even BBC World in the US is much different than BBC World outside.
Freedom of the Press does not mean we get the truth.

Hence, you do have people here that still like Bush.

Having lived abroad and seen media news outlets in many other countries, I know better.

It is really ridiculous how much hatred is geared towards the President when the reality is, it's not him alone... he does not have that much power. And if you really believe Americans did not vote for him, you are misinformed. I don't know what country you are from, but I don't stand around and b*tch about your country or any other, so don't presume to know what all Americans think or feel. And fyi, I didn't vote for Bush... but I did vote.

Most of us felt protected by him after 9/11... but NOW a huge majority of Americans realize he is full of crap and has a much bigger agenda than the welfare of the American people. We are angry at him for making us all look like a bunch of bullies. He does what he wants ...not what the PEOPLE want.

some do and some dont. an easy way to look at it is america is divided into 2 political parties, and those that identify as conservatives are in support of bush, and those that are liberals are not. bush is a hardcore republican (conservative) and is against things like gay marriage and is in favor of the war in iraq, while most liberals are not in favor of the war, and many support gay marriages

I like Bush. I think he is doing just as good as anyone else could. I believe he is very honest and an over all good person. Leaders arent meant to be liked, they are meant to lead and do what is best.

First, who cares about world opinion or popularity? It is worthless. No other country cares what the rest of the world thinks, so why should we?

Second, there is no reasonable reason for the world to hate Bush, except for their ignorance, gullibility to propaganda, and general dislike of America. So, to hell with them.
