Presumably you are having trouble concentrating?

One way is just to play a reward game with yourself. Tell yourself you'll get something nice or do something relaxing after you've studied for 30-60 minutes, but ONLY if you actually study and don't cheat. Then do it for 30-60 minutes. Every time you feel like stopping, tell yourself--no study, no reward. Be strict with yourself. Be like your parent. If 30 minutes is too much, start at 20. No daydreaming (make this a reward), no soda, no cigs, nothing you normally do is to be done while you study--only after you study as a reward. You'll be surprised how easily it is for you to train yourself to longer and longer amounts of study. Pretty soon you'll be trying for 5 to 8 hours straight. And if one day you win a Nobel, please remember me in your will?

I try to be someplace where it's quiet and I have no distractions. Sometimes I have to go to the library because that is the only way I can make myself settle down and study. Other times I've been known to make sure everything is picked up, clean, and put away or that will distract me. Maybe you need to pick a specific place to do your studies and make it a distraction free zone.

Study in a seperate place from whatever else you do. For example, I rarely study at home. I got a university, so I study there when I'm not in class. Mentally, where I am location-wise makes a difference in the "mood" I'm in. At home, I can't study well at all.

turn off TV, turn off computer, leave cellphone alone, sit comfortably, books on a table, make sure you have enough light, no disturbance from other people. have some water nearby so you don't have to get up to get some. rest 15 minutes for every hour.
if you did good on practice tests, give yourself a little reward, like a snack or maybe go outside for a while.
