For girls to suck on?

B/c men and women are the same. We start out as the exact same creature with the same blue prints until chromosomes start playing a factor in development.

If you look at it, we still have all the same parts, some are just inverted (ex ovaries/testicles). You see?

Men's nipples are completely useless. (As far as performing a function. I'm sure some of you have fetishes and what not...but they don't serve a 'purpose' per say.)

I have a book to suggest to you, It's called "Why Do Men Have Nipples? Hundreds of Questions You'd Only Ask a Doctor After Your Third Martini" By Mark Leyner

As quoted;
"For people who aren’t going to buy your book, please answer this: Why do men have nipples?
Well, one reason is so men don’t put their shirts on backwards. There’s a longer explanation in the book. But the short version is: it is a remnant of our brief days as a woman in utero."

I am guessing you want the straight answer :).

Male nipples are full-sized and fully equipped with blood vessels, nerves, and all the usual appurtenances of functioning organs. Why this should be so nobody knows--in some other mammals, such as rats and mice, male nipple development is completely suppressed by the male sex hormones.

Men's nipples, sometimes cited as vestigial structures, are not truly vestigial because they are not remnants of functional male nipples in ancestral species. They occur because nipple precursors are grown early in the development of the human embryo, before sexual differentiation. Later in life these structures become more fully developed in women, while remaining undeveloped in men.

The simple answer therefore seems to be that men have nipples because women do (and in women, they have an important function).

Nipples on a man is scientific proof that God had remarkable foresight in putting them there, anticipating that some time in the far future, homosexuality will be discovered and practiced, and before long one of the same-male-sex couples (with the help of science) will get pregnant and need them to nurse the alien-like child. Think of it as the same as putting OnStar on your car, not that you need, nor will you ever need it in the next 1000 years, but you 'might' need it in 3000 years, because your driving will get progressively more risky.

Biologically speaking the only difference between men and women is that men have a Y chromosome on the 23 pair and women have two X chromosomes. Both men and women have the hormones testosterone (men) and estrogen (women) in their bodies and the chromosomes regulate the hormone. If a man were to want a sex change the docs would start giving him estrogen treatment, a typical side effect is that breasts start to form, breasts are mainly fat and muscle the only anatomical difference is that women have mammary glands. Women who take testosterone may grow facial hair and experience a deepening in the voice. Long story but the basic is that the blueprint for each other lies in our DNA and the difference between us is more chemical than physical.

Because the nipples begin forming before the gender chromosomes begin effecting the body. Once the gender is actually beginning to take shape in the body, the gender specific organs and tissues begin forming.

You could also ask why humans still have tail bones! Maybe in the distant past it's something they used to need but now serves no purpose. It's possible that eventually, as we continue to evolve, men will lose their nipples!

No one really knows. However most people agree that nipples are asexual in nature, meaning that it's not attributable to female/male.

Because when God made Adam & Eve, he took the breasts away from Adam and gave it to Eve leaving him with the stubs. He then was told that he won't be needing those he already have something hanging loose on the outside. That has been handed down ever since. lol.

Well... the nipple is part of the mammory glands... the human species are mammals... so there for both male and female should have nipples.
