It is very narrow minded to assume that every person that does not agree with the Italian point of view is jealous, hates Italians/Italy. There are more emotions involved in some people's opinions like disappointment etc. Some have voiced opinions that I am sure to them are quite logical and have nothing to do with jealousy. Italy knocked my team out, I am not jealous, but am tired of being called an anti Italian scumbag because there may be a couple of issues that I have a different perspective or opinion on. You must only read selective questions, as I have seen many compliment Cannavaro and Buffon, myself included. To bring politics and especially Hitler into the argument is offencive and a little childish. That statement itself belies an answer. No one wants to see the return of him or that type of leadership and only a short sighted person would compare anyone to him in this sense.

Nobody is jealous...that's just your little imaginations at work. People are irritated because Italy didn't deserve to win. It's just the truth that they cheated the whole tournament. And how the hell is Zidane like Hitler? That's what you people call everyone who plays better than you and actually plays the game fair and with class. First, you call the Germans "Nazis", now the French are going "with Hitler", so much ignorance!

Nobody is jealous of Italy. Just like you are obviously not a fan of the French, believe it or not there are people out there who aren't fans of the Italians! And for you to call Zidane a fool makes you look like one.

No one's jealous, just very surprised, because France basically outplayed them.. What did Buffon do to be called a hero, I can definitely understand Cannavaro or Gattuso cuz they defended with their lives. *By the way, Hitler has nothing to do with the French, so bad combination...

Why can't someone say.. ' Hey, Lippi managed the team great' or 'Buffon made reeeaallly nice saves' or 'Cannavaro, has played amazing' or 'Italy played great in their games'

I don't understand the need to bring political history into this context but I thought Italy were worthy World champions and in Cannavaro one of the players of the tournament.

i agree to some extent that zidane does not deserve the fame he gets, being compared to pele and maradona. But still he was the pillar of France's Team for the past decade.

World cup? It's a game... who cares as long as people had fun? Personally, watching other people kick a ball around a field and get paid millions of dollars to do so, just doesn't really appeal to me. I'd rather do something I found meaningful and personally engaging.

Why are people jealous of Italians???? Too many answers to that question, but I'll just give you few, Italy has the best team (AZZURRI) ,Italians won't take **** from anyone, Italy is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, Italians do what they do with their heart not their head...I could go on but I think I'll leave it a that!!
