About 30 or so years ago I worked in a transmission shop. It was a small shop and I was a friend of the owners son. I went to work there when I was 14 and left after I got married at the age of 21. The job itself was interesting but The owner of the place was the best boss that anyone could ever hope to have. He had a tremendous sense of humor and was always more than fair to me. He also had 4 delicious daughters and this was the 70s if you know what I mean. He paid for my entire bachelor party even though he knew I was leaving after I got married. I was in a car accident in 1973 and he continued to pay my salary for the 3 months that I was out of work even though he knew the insurance company was covering my pay. Even though He passed away a few years ago He is still the man that I most admire in the world.

I use to work at the movie theater when I was in High School. That was the coolest job EVER!!! Our manager didn't give a rats **** about anything!!! We saw movies all the time. Everyone I worked with was either drunk or stoned, and in many cases both! We would go up on the roof and shoot off fireworks or just chill out up there. We would set things on fire. We set the trashcan outside on fire once for the Olympics and we would set our hands on fire too, it was awesome. We had crushed ice fights in the back room, and would throw people in the ice machine. We even would drink with the manager after work. He would bring in scotch for us to have and play cards with nude women on them. Freaking awesome times!!!

i guess this will sound odd, but the best job i ever had was working at a prison., i guess it is a lot like being a cop, you become like a family, sharing good and bad times. most people in this line of work are adrenalin junkies, we get a natural high from the excitement and danger.

In high school, I worked at a Funcoland which was later bought by Gamestop. But, when we weren't busy, we were allowed to play video games. It was sweet!

I worked at Arby's for 4 years it was great. We had so much fun and my coworkers and I all got along and there was no drama.

Answering phones for one of those "party lines" where guys get to "meet local women." Except I got fired for laughing too much! :-D
