im just curious because i think alanis is the best female rocker there is and avril is good also..

Grungy teen star Avril Lavigne has been offered the hand of friendship by fellow Canadian rocker Alanis Morissette.
The two singers met recently in New York and Morissette was impressed with how well the young Complicated star was dealing with her new found fame but was quick to point out that the attention can get overwhelming.
Morissette says, "She appeals to a certain group of people so that's cool. Catchy lyrics and all that so it's definitely rocking pop.
"We talked about it a little bit. Having been in a position similar to hers when I was younger and having been on the receiving end of a lot of people saying, 'Call me,' I know that the very act of expressing support can be a very sustaining thing."
"I definitely invited her to call if ever she needed anyone to talk to, that she's welcome to connect with me, and I send her love."

i'd might want to say for me it will be determined by using my age.... for the reason that Alanis changed into making her way onto the track scene even as i changed into 15, I surely have a more suitable affinity in the direction of her. those who're at that age now may probably like Avril extra....

no...that's quite stupid to discuss it. Must they be relatives just because they are similar in styles? If it were to be true, then Joni Mitchell is Alanis' mother, and Janis Joplin is Avril's grandmother.

I have not heard that, and I also doubt it is true, I think they would have publically said something by now, since they are both popular.
