Falling in love while at university is almost mandatory for growing up, much like learning how to use the coin laundry to clean your clothes. To draw the parallel further, I can still see myself thinking that if I could cram all of the clothes into one washer, I still might have enough money for a beer and some pizza. If you ask me, that's where you learn something about life, just as you do when you are in love with someone: you are faced with decisions you must make and only you can make the right ones. By the way, don't worry if you don't make the right decisions all the time. Just be careful. In my case, the washer didn't clean my clothes very well, but in the case of love, or sometimes lust, one should exert considerably more care.
There are so many temptations and only you can decide which ones to select and which ones to ignore. Hopefully you have a good moral foundation.
What I am suggesting is a means by which you may learn about life in ways that you really don't know. In one sense, being at the university gives you a false sense of independence, but on the other, it frees you to experience things that are on the fringe of your imagination. Lastly, remember George de Santayana's words, which will come in handy on various occasions: "Freedom is the right to say 'No!'"

It depends, if it's a good friendship and/or a good love. A good friendship won't take away from your study time, and same goes for a good love. You just have to time manage - make time for the special people, make time to study. It's a balancing act, and as long as they don't convince you that they are more important than your studies, you should be just fine :)

Have fun!

It depends on person. If the person is really serious about his/her then one can make love while studying without affecting the studies.
But if one finds a real love and thinks that u won't find a diff. one then u should not let ur love go. Try to hav the balance bet love and studies

i think that its a good thing cause school can be stressful at times and having a friendship or love tremendously helps take down the stress level, not only in school but also in life all around.

There is always the possibility that the relationship you begin is the thing you were supposed to learn while in college. You are trying to find your future. That relationship may be it. Think about it.

That is up to the individual but I can tell you that I wish I had not had a boyfriend when I was in college. I probably would have finished.

If you can find love, hold onto it. It's sacred and quite frankly the only true thing of value in life.
