I enjoy autobiographies like Dancing on my Grave by Gelsey Kirkland, Holding on to the Air by Suzanne Farrell and Tony Bently, Once a Dancer by Allegra Kent, Prodigal Son by Edward Villella. It is interesting to see how the dancer perceives his or her own life and art.

The Sadler's Wells Collection by Lorna Hill is very good. I read that as a teen.
Sadler's Wells is, of course, a real ballet school so it's fiction based on fact.
