I would certainly hope not. However, being a school teacher has led me to realize many things. The most important is how little time mothers and fathers are actually spending with their children. It used to be that mommy and daddy were our heroes, then came spiderman or superman and then some sports figure. Now, if children don't have their parents, if our sports figures are involved in drug abuse and sexual type scandals...who does that leave them with? Superman and each other. Once they figure out Superman is non-existent, it leaves them with only each other. This is why so many follow with drug abuse, sex, pregnancy, etc. Its sad really but the only solution there is, is to help parents realize just how important they really are to their child.
