Nope, I'm not faking it. I'm happy and I worked hard to get here because I wasn't always happy...and even now I have some down days.

There is no one alive who does not have problems and worries. We all also feel that everyone around us is doing better at life than we are. However, we certainly don't want them to know this about us. So in this sense we are all putting on a "happy face". As to are there people who are happy most of the time. Yes many people are. But they have all been through periods of unhappiness, especially during the younger years. Happiness is both a task and a habit. It is something that can be improved. It is also very important to find people to be intimate with. By this I do not mean sex. I mean people who you can share your deepest feelings. The most comforting thing in the world is to hear another person say "Yea I have felt that way too".

I've noticed that people laugh at things that are not funny because they want to be happy. When you watch sitcoms they use a machine that creates an audience laughing. My answer is that people fake it but if you act happy then you are for the most part happy.

Better to prime the pump first, less you will get no water. Being happy is a daily process of affirming that you are happy, and giving thanks for the things that you have.

You feed your mind positive thoughts, and look for the good everywhere, you make an effort to laugh at funny things, (a good laugh is good for your health).

In essence, you choose to be happy despite the daily challenges that life presents to us. Act happy even if you don't particularly feel happy and you will actually bring about the state of happiness.

Stay away from as much negativity as possible, including negative people who will only drain your positive energy.
Don't dwell on negative circumstances, instead try to correct what you can, then let it go.

It's hard to say. Unless you know the person it's hard to tell if they are really faking it or not. I am normally a happy-go-lucky kind of person, but there are times when I have to fake it too, because we all have our bad days.

i know what your talking about, it seems there are tons of fake people in the U.S.
the only thing you can do it be real, and surround yourself with real people. Not ones who act different around each different person. Fake people are the reason there is so much unhappiness in our society. I would rather know you dont like me than you be fake and act like you like me till im gone, so you can just run your mouth about me? Get what i am saying

no i believe that there are plenty of happy people in the world and you care only as happy as you make yourself. but there are some people that fake it just so that other people will like them

Happy people are normally those that do not doubt their ability to take on the hardships of life.

Honestly, if anybody is faking it, then they no longer count as a happy person.
