Someone has dumped a 1994 BMW 316i across my driveway. Condition looks fair, and road tax was renewed only last week. Is it gonna be worth anything?

I wouldn't get a 2-door personally, it is impractical (trunk isn't any bigger) but that generation of 3-Series was one of the best. It is a great car.

yes its worth plenty of money but it sounds like it may have been stolen i would check first then i would move it to a safe place for a few months and use a the land lord lien to get the title for yourself! Good Luck

I'd sell it for a couple hundred just as fast as I could. Free to you right? Free money. If someone dumped it they dumped it for a reason, if it was me I wouldn't get into trying to fix it. It usually ends up being a big headache.

Check Kelly Blue Book. (Link below)

take it. then look at it yourself and if you think it's worth keeping, get an inspection. if the guy says its worth fixing up, by all means fix it up and keep the thing. if the guy says its trash, at least you spent nine grand less on it than you wouldve had you not had the inspection.

considering he just dumped it, have you though that there may be somthing wrong? not just mechanically but say:
used as transportation for someone the person killed?

Make a police report and check www.edmunds.com. I hope you don't have to pay to have it hauled to the auto recyclers.

£500, more if its a runner, but if you try and sell it and the owner comes back he can have you charged with theft
