Seems like there's a pill for everything nowadays. Let nature take its course and be patient. As long as you are in good health, your periods will regulate themselves. When I was 14 I had the same thing, and I didn't know anyone who didn't.

Make sure you keep track of your cycle and count the days between the first day of your period each month. At the end of 6 months take an average of the days and that is what your own natural cycle is. Mine happens to be about 35 days. The 28 day cycle that most women have is just a general guideline and every woman's body is different. If you are having sex then practice safer sex, eat right, drink plenty of water and milk, take vitamins and exercise regularly. This will help your body grow normally and help to normalize your cycle. At the age of 14 and younger when a girl first starts having periods it is normal for her cycle to be irregular. Try to be patient and if you are still very worried then talk to the school nurse and/or the doctor.

Talk to your doctor about it and try to be as detailed about how symptoms as possible. Delays in periods are sometimes natural but alot of times they can point to a variety of problems. When I was a teen it turned out it was a side effect from a hormonal imbalance that was occuring from not treating my diabetes!(which I didnt know I had till then) So it's a good idea to be on the safe side and ask.

visit a gynaecologist.....the doctor would most probably prescribe some iron capsules to be taken over a month (one capsule a day). If the menstual cycle has just begun , then it may take about 6 months to get regular. Theres no need to worry as such, cuz 60% of indian girls are anaemic i.e. lack iron content in their bodies.
