Are you asking about a hypothetical situation where Iraq and Israel would be at war? Or are you referring to Lebanon being at war with Israel. Either way, the jews and the arabs never got along since the begining of time. The sad part is, Israel always commences the battle, but everyone is too afraid of what big brother USA would do if they attacked Israel. Israel has no regards for life but their own. They think that they are the sacred people of the world and they use their history of being slaughtered to their protection. However, it's highly criminal to attack defenseless countries like lebanon and palestine. In addition, they killed 8 canadians, which is highly unnecessairy! They don't distinguish between friends and enemies, because they only look out for number one.

For FIONEX,
Israel did not begin this round of the battle. Hezbulah kidnapped an Israeli soldier after Hezbulah members crossed the border, coming into Israel and grabbing the soldier and hurting other soldiers. So it was not Israel who started this round of battles.

It is coming across the news right now that even the Arab nations are speaking out against Hezbulah for "STARTING" this battle.

So make sure blame is put where blame belongs.

As for my views on the wars with Israel-- it is as G-d intended it to be. I feel it reinforces the fact that a small country such as Israel, due to protection from G-d, can survive being attacked over and over throughout history.

Israel is one country that will not sit back and get attacked over and over and over before they take action, which is what the USA does-- we take attack after attack without fighting back (USS Cole bombed, numerous American Embassies bombed around the world, etc. and it was not until 9-11 that we decided to take action).

Oh and for the record, Israel dropped leaflets 2 hours before their initial strike on Lebanon to warn the Lebonese citizens as to exactly what targets will be hit, to ensure they stay away from those targets, ensuring as little casualties as possible. Not many countries I know warn citizens before they start dropping bombs- Israel should be commended for that.

Is Iraq directly in war with Israel?

I think this tension has been going on since the time of Abraham, when Ishmael (i.e. supposed ancestor of the Muslims) was sent away because Sarah didn't like him or his mother (her servant, Hagar). When Isaac (i.e. the ancestor of the Jews) arrived, you'd have to guess there would be an ongoing battle over power and birth right.

As it says in Ecclesiastes - There is nothing new under the sun!

LEBANON is at war with ISRAEL!!!! LEBANON!!! Not Iraq!

By the way, it's not even the entire country of Lebanon it's a terrorist organization named Hezbollah. But it's LEBANON!!!

And the first answer is correct. The Bible does speak of wars and rumors of many wars towards the end times.
