to me, he is the worst choice for a singer!

He won because he's extremely passionate about music and is a lover of a diverse genre. He has a great personality, an interesting look, and he's from the south. The south is usually more supportive. Just look at all of the past American Idol winners--all southerners.

Taylor was better than all the rest. Some Americans obviously don't see that. Chris was all about Rock and Taylor took chances and he so deserved it. Why do people think that he is such a bad guy? So what he has gray hair and his clothes are a little funky. He's a great guy with a great personality.
Carrie Underwood is VERY popular and us country people love her. Who wants to listens to rap singers? Country beats it by a mile and everyone thinks that america sucks.
Bush isn't a bad president. I know he has messed up a few times but that's no reason to hate america. Geeze. You people.

I dont usually watch American Idol but decided to this season and truthfully I think that it's rigged. I mean I think Taylor is a nice guy and fun performer but there where definatly people that had better voices. But then again I geuss just having a good voice might not be enough for die hard fans that have seen this every season.

I love Taylor!! No one sounds like him,he's original. But I still think Chris should have won.

Every year someone says it was rigged because there idol didn't win.Taylor won because he got the most votes.it wasn't rigged

i have no idea, he's old and gray, his voice is falling apart and his taste in suites not to mention clothes are sooooo bad, oh and I'm very disappointed that Carrie Underwood went to country music, she could have gone to pop are music that reaches people world wide, right now she's slowly being forgotten
