And, why is Zidane this BIG SAINT now, that this whole thing happened?! It's like.. 'Poor zidane' this and that. What about in 2004, when Poulsen instigated Totti, and Totti reacted (wrongly) by spitting on him. Did the whole media ask Totti anything and make him appear in an interview?? Nopee.

Just because it's Zidane.. OOOHH HE NEEDS TO BE RIGHT.. even though he might be wrong.

ANNDD.. Canal Plus, is french, and no wonder they let Zidane speak. Okay, Materazzi might not be a saint, and DON'T THINK Zidane is either.

I tried reading his lips.. because Zidane on Canal Plus (ACTING ALL INNOCENT.. which is all CRAP) said when Materazzi was pulling his shirt, Zidane said he was gonnagive him the shirt after the game, but he made it sound like he said it nicely.. YEAH OKAAYYY!! HE PROBABLY SAID IT WORSSEE!! PLEEAASE..

Words always go on the field. At least exchange words back, or whatever. WHAT THE HELL IS THIS HEADBUTTING?!

Headbutting? Zidane's trademark.

All lies, for Zidane, folks.

I have to agree with you, I dont know what some people's problems are when it comes to this issue. Its almost as if they want it to be something about religion and race. Zidane himself said that the insults were towards his mother and his sister. Materazzi denied everything of course, but in both of their statements is there nothing about race or religion. I think its time to stop trying to make it into something its not.

I'm sure you're right.
1) Materazzi's favourite book must be mickey mouse ou donald duck, so he for sure does not know that a terrorist is
2) He said he did not insult his mother because he lost his while he was 15. Every mother is sacred for him and he wished Zidane's mother his best, because she's actually in hospital.

I tried to "read his lips" and what I understood is : " I will give my shirt to your sister, that *****" (twice) and in the end a big "vaffanculo" (f..k you)
What makes me angry is that in France now Zidane has been raised to a national hero, instead of the criminal he his. Disgusting, that also to Mr. Chirac, who talked as usual like an idiot.

You really are a dikk....even Materazzi admitted to insulting Zidane. It is also a form of racism to belittle/abuse others for perceived connections. To call someone a whore, if that is proven, is also racist as it comes from a perception that only certain people are. You must be more privileged than the rest of the world to be the only one to have verification of the incident. Let FIFA handle it now...stop provoking more arguments.

I agree with you 100%......they had to figure out a way to justify Zidane's immature and idiotic action and therefore they blamed Materazzi...when in reality name callng goes on all the time in any sport but head-butting is not acceptable in any circumstance!!!!

Invented? Don't be naive. Right or wrong, nobody will react like Zidane did about nothing. Try to be objective.

Zidane is an idiot. This is not the first time he's done this. Get over it he's not a role model, he's a talented punk.
