I just started taking it last night and I am afraid of what it might do to me. I haven't had my period for 2 1/2 months now and my doctor perscribed it to me. I am just afraid that i will be bleeding super heavy. Let me know how this drug affected you please!!

Well I still haven't had my cycle yet and all of my pills are gone!!!! Is that normal??

I took it after my last 51 day cycle. It made me feel pg - boobs hurt, tired, etc. My period after was a little heavy but nothing I couldn't handle. Kinda like a high school period. One good thing about prometrium is that it is a "reset" button for your periods - which is good for ttc. HTH!

Hi I to am taking prometrium but for "fertility" issues . I take it vaginally 2 x daily. It has caused my period to be delayed the last 3 months. Up to that point I had normal cycles 28 days not 30 -32. My cramps and bleeding is much worse. But I guess we do and deal with what we have to .

It is quite likely that your menses will be heavier than normal - after all you have 2 1/2 months of lining built up in your uterus. Though it is nothing to be frightened of, just heavier than normal.

it worked good for me. my periods are always irregular. so this was a big help.
