I ve got a tan, a round patch darker than the rest of the body. how can i make it lighter?

if it hasn't been there before you need to go to the dr. to make sure it isn't a sign of skin cancer...if it has always been there like a birthmark or something, you will probably still need a dermatologist to lighten the area.
