Why is it that no one is doing anything about the war in Lebanon ?

i can't help but crying everytime i watch the news and see half bodies and dead children in Lebanon... with all do respect to the reasons my country (israel) have .. i can't understant how coud the united nation, u.s.a., and all powerful countries just set aside .

cause ur country is brutal and wont listen to anyone but the united states,and unfortunatly the usa is happy with whats happening in lebanon as long as MUSLIMS being killed.
IF u r an israeli citezen ,then u can do something to stop that,
u can find a way u and all good jewish ppl to pressure ur gov to stop.
if israel is realy a democratic country as they claim(which i never beleived its true),then u should find a way,cause the war will hurt u&ur family as much as it hurts the lebanese&the palestinians
last thing,i'm happy that their is still good jewish ppl on this planet

It seems like a key mistake was for the US to go in to Iraq. It put the US a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China, which backs Iran (they want the oil), and Iran backs Hezbollah, so what the US can do is very limited. Also the US military is now spread too thin. Also as bad as Hussein was for Iraq, he kept his country a strong counterbalance to Iran, now Iran is unimpeded there. Also the US and the US President have lost all moral authority in the world because of the lying to start the Iraq war. So it is a very bad, very unfortunate situation. On the time scale of most wars, this war is just starting and there may be time to stop it before it gets a lot worse. Lets all hope so!

No one has set this aside. If you are an Israeli then I don't need to tell you about all the Israeli children and women who are also being killed. The other Countries are trying to bring about a peace. It will not happen until the Hezbollah is done with. Lebanon needs to kick them out or control them more. They are paying the price for how strong they have allowed the Hezbollah to become.

They have turned the tables on the Arabs again. This has long been planned by the US,Israel, and others. Now it's the poor Israeli's? Guess the recent meeting in Israel of the Zionists got the nod to move ahead with their plan. I for one am disgusted by all the lies and loss of lives. One side attacking the other. Both sides itching for a war so why bother stopping them. These people went on for thousand of years fighting each other. Israeli going in with their helicopters and tanks, Hezbollah going in with their hand held missiles. Its a matter of time before suicide bombings start again. If no one understand peace, how can anyone make them understand. To quote Superman Returns, the only thing finite in this world is land, money can be printed, water can be recycled, people can die and be replaced for that purpose too.

No offence to anybody here, but Lebanon had to see it coming eventually. When Israeli had to pick up there blowen up children by pieces, when soldiers skin was pealed off when looking for a ride at night, when buses blow up in the middle of the day, robots come to your school to pick up a bomb... is that fair!? everybody closed their eyes and watched, for years! (Don't get me wrong I do feel awful watching these poor families in Lebanon crying over their loved once) But unfortunately the government makes decisions and civilians pay the price.
