What mp3 should I get? There are so many!?

I am new at the mp3 thing. I have ben looking for a reliable mp3 player with a medium amount of storage for $200 or under though I will go over that if nessecery. If anyone has a suggestion on one I will gladly take it. If you can, please give me a site so that i can check it out. All info you have is welcome!

First off, not the iPod. The audio quality isn't great. The screen supports a low amount of colors and scratches slow up constantly. The iPods are have practically NO FEATURES, have poor battery life, and are overpriced. Did I mention they're made
in sweatshops?

You have a budget, so I recommend the Sandisk Sansa e260. I have this one and it's excellent. Video playback, radio, and voice recording. It holds 4GB (about 1,000 songs) for $200.

A 5G iPod Video. I will give you a whole bunch of reasons why it is worth it (I have one by the way.) First, it can hold 7500 songs. You don't see many MP3 Players that can do that do you? The PSP can hold songs, but not a lot and if you want a lot you have to buy expensive memory for it. Also, the video capabilities option is wonderful. Since the vidoes are always large files, the 30GB harddrive will come in handy instead of a $100 1GB flash memory card. I have at least 100 videos on mine, a bunch of south park episodes, the simpsons, family guy, and 10 movies on top of that, and still room for 750 songs and over 400 photos, with 5GB to spare for whatever I want. Plus the 5G iPod has a 2.5" display, which may seem small compaired to something like the PSP, but you will get used to it. And the iPod is one of the very few mp3 players that can be hacked. I mean the real deal, playing Doom, Half-Life, Quake, and more games on it, writing text documents on it, painting pictures on it, and a whooole lot more. Look into iPod Linux, Rockbox, and iPod Wizard (for more info on this, go to http://iPodForum.co.nr/ And I could go on an on all day about why you should get the iPod Video. One other reason: once you have it in your hand the first time, you will never put it down. It's got a great look and I take mine everywhere. To school, on the bus, to the mall, my friends' houses, I even listen to it when I'm falling asleep. I'm addicted to it. I love it. If you get one then you will definately know what I am talking about. By the way, I was just talking about the 30GB iPod. If you get the 60GB iPod, then you can double everything I said which would be even better (the 60GB iPod is $400 and the 30GB is $300.) Good luck with your decision.

Size is everything. Get the biggest that you can afford.

i pods are great but u might also want to check out Creative Zen's and Samsung mp3 players. Good Luck!!

iPods are starting to slow down. If you excersize and arn't a lazy american, then you should wait until iPod Niki comes out and just buy one of them. If not, I'd wait until a newer player come out from creative.

i suggest creative or ipods.
creative is one of the biggest and famous sound card or sound relative product company, their music quality is definitly no doubt about it.
ipod is not bad either. their music manage program is very completed and successful.
