It's strange, that President Bush seems to take more stick than the terrorists. He didn't create them. 9/11 and other atrocities occurred before the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq.

I wouldn't exactly blame Bush alone. I think its a combination of more than one person and contributing factors. Also ego plays a big part. Fine, every man is for his country but I think people don't realise that despite differences we all have the common goal of trying to survive in this world of chaos and just making it day by day. Unfortunately wealth, greed, power play a big part in one nation trying to up the other. Why and at what cost a lot of them don't realise. I'm pretty sure from time to time nations that have been to war have regreted it, because the cost of it was huge to pay. Mankind on the whole is whats responsible for the mess of the world today, regardless of who's in power and who's not we've all contributed to the state of the world in some small way that may seem unnoticeable. With world leaders its more noticeable. So all in all not one person is responsible, we all are.

On the 9-11 they took out 3000 Americans, Bush took a stand, and since he has not stoped chasing those terrorists, and he should not stop until they will go underground, not to ever surface again. Besides all that, which we will eventually defeat, the world has never been in a better shape than now, there are a few small details to take care, like Iran and N korea and the job in the way I see it should be accomplished. mankind has never seen this kind of tech progress, prosperity, and general knowledge before, and accellerating, a decade from now, the oil crise should be history as we will be concentrating more research on alternative source of energies and succeding, Ibm Just unveiled a memory chip 100 times faster than the most advanced one on the market, the implication of this discovery alone will add new impectus to the world prosperity, new advanced products better anything electronic which wether we realise it or not effects everybody everyday life, we are in for the best times ever for our planet and its inhabitants, we have every reason to be optimistic. the problems we now face? All manageable and in time they will be history, without living eny lastng scars

Really, do you not think he is just reacting to a mad world?
I don't think the world is in a mess at all: er just like painting a messy picture of it in the media....
If you think about how many wars there used to be, we are all doing quite well really, there isn't that many any more, MAD truly works!...funnily enough the wars these days are started for genuine reasons, in the 19th century everything started kicking off for the most random silly reasons at times
Okay glabal poverty is a problem, but we have removed Smallpox, which they reckon killed over a billion people in the last three hundred years...had we not have cured smallpox and the death rates were higher around the world, then what would peoples big problems be then?
Food for thought maybe - what do you reckon to them apples BONO?!

So, the world has been a veritable Eden up until 5½ years ago?
I don't think so. Basically, the mess the world is in today is just the same as the mess it has been ever since humanity came along. From the oldest human histories, human nature has remained the same. That means wars, hatreds, violence, etc.
The only difference now is that you get to see human failings live and in color on a 24/7 news cycle.

I got sunburned on the lake yesterday, can I blame that on Bush too?
Israel and the Arabs have been bickering for thousands of years. You think Bush is old enough to have caused that???
Clinton was the one who traded some nuke technology with N Korea, which has allowed the crazy little treasure troll they call a leader to be able to hold us all hostage with his teetering little rockets-how is that Bush's fault?
Osama has hated the west and he bombed the WTC when Clinton was in office and what did Clinton do about it? A big, fat nothing (and yes, I am talking about Monica). In fact, what was his reaction when the USS Cole was blasted by terrorists? Nothing.
So please exlain to me how this is all Bush's fault?
Damn... I must be PMSing.

You would be wrong! I would pinpoint Bill Clinton! Our World Trade Towers were bombed under his leadership - he did NOTHING. Our African Embassy was bombed under his leadership - he did NOTHING. One of our navy ships was bombed during his leadership - he did NOTHING. He lied, cheated, stole, and committed adultery but he NEVER defended our country or took a stand against future attacks. If he had spent more time on his job instead of on himself George Bush might never have had to make the tough choices that he did because someone before him passed the buck!

This is no different than the mess we've had for the history of the world. The only difference is we have mass media. We get news from everywhere at anytime of the day. Think about it and then relax. It'll work out.
