Here is a really dumb question?

1.Why is the sky blue? ( answer intelligently I am no child)
2. Why is the earth round and obites around the sun

The sky is blue partly because air scatters short-wavelength light in preference to longer wavelengths. Where the sunlight is nearly tangent to the Earth's surface, the light's path through the atmosphere is so long that much of the blue and even yellow light is scattered out, leaving the sun rays and the clouds it illuminates red, at sunrise and sunset.


Why is the Earth round?

It's the gravity, of course.

Imagine Earth were liquid--consisting, say, only of water. Gravity
would of course pull that water towards the center, and if any could flow closer to the center, it would do so.

Therefore, if such an Earth were not a sphere--if some points were higher than the average--their water would quickly flow down. Water would also flow into any valley deeper than the average and fill it up.
The final shape MUST be a sphere. Only then does every point on the surface have the same distance from the center.

Gas planets like Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune behave the same way, since gas flows like a fluid. The Sun is gas, too, so it must be spherical. But Earth? The Moon? Why should a planet composed of solid rock have the same shape as one composed of water?

kilometers), rocks flow like a fluid, too. A rock 300 miles underground bears the weight of a 300-mile layer of rock, and under such pressure even solid material will gradually yield, more so because of the intense heat there. Hence the rocky Earth is close to a sphere.

Why is grass green?
Grass is green because it is filled with chlorophyll not chloroform that is a green pigment that reflects green light from the sun and absorbs the other colors.

1. Blue is special kind of light/colour wave that is easilly seen and scattered. See Source below. Water is a reflection of the sky. The clouds and the atmosphere dissipate the white light from the sun making that nice blue colour we all like to see.

2. The earth isn't really round, it's actually slightly egg shaped, our own gravity is making the Earth chubby at the equator. Not by that much though, we're essentially round. All the Centripital force in the universe simply can't make any other shape... Can't make squares or

Blue Sky: Refraction and Bending of Light to a visible spectrum.
Orbital: Gravity,Motion and other Near Earth objects that have an interaction.
Green: Chemical in plant Chlorophyl, is also very akin to a Solar Power source.

the sky is blue because of the light rays from the sun that hit it. the color something is (for example blue for the sky) depends on what colors from the spectra of light that hits it and reflects from it. Blue is reflected therefore giving off a blue color.

the earth orbites around the sun due to the magnetic fields that are attracted between Earth and the Sun. It is round for the same reason why rocks are round, it just formed that way


the grass is green for the same reason why the sky is blue, the green light is reflected off grass

1. Sky is not blue but just appears to be so...
a.it is the reflection of the earth.
b.coz grass isn't blue and we are not blue (at some times though we might feel that way)
c. and coz u are a child...if u weren't you wouldn't ask this.:-)
2. a.coz football is (ever imagined a cube kicked around corners would hurt) It orbits around the sun coz it has no GOAL.
3. a. coz the sky isn't green
b. coz you are on the other side:-)
c. you need to grow up and see it really is not. Its just the way you feel. Its an illusion. look deeper:-)

The sky is blue because of space being black and the atmosphere lightens that blackness (and so does the sun)
The earth is round because it was formed through dust and particles in space forming together (this wouldn't form a square, would it?) and orbites the sun due to it's gravitational pull on us.
Grass (and plants) are green because of photosynthesis whereby they obtain nutrients from the sun.

i imagine it really is a present day international type. i imagine people have become dumber specifically fields like Math, technological knowledge and technologies, even as fields like banking, finance have remained unaffected. I studied laptop Engineering in a school in Nigeria for decades beforehand I got here visiting to a US college, and my own experience (and my grades) instruct that the coursework is clearly countless ranges a lot less stressful over right here interior the U.S. similar statements should be made even as evaluating coursework in India, China and Japan. on the different hand, there's a continuing mind drain from international to the U.
