First of all congratulations to your boyfriend, you must be proud of him! I have now been to graduations at 3 different universities (2 ceremonies at one of them!). My university was actually a half military college so it was real formal hat wearing stuff! Both of them were a full day event too. I wore a suit and my Mum had a summer suit and hat, skirt and jacket would do too. The other two universities were less formal and had half day events, I do believe that you shpuld make the effort and look smart a nice skirt and top would do the trick with some smart sandaly. DON'T wear jeans and other casual wear, you're celebrating you boyfriends hard work and effort so do be smart.
Keep the shoes comfortable too! Car parking may be quite a disance from the ceremony!

Its the right time of year to be wearing pretty, floaty summer dresses, so I would opt for that.
Make sure it isnt too short or low cut if it is going to be a church thing, and either opt for something with short sleeves, or invest in something to wrap around your shoulders whilst in church.
Team with a pair of peep-toe sandals and you will look a million dollars !!

It depends on how old you are I think. Obviously no mini skirts or bra tops but I think something smart-casual if you are very young (late teens to mid twenties). If you are past your mid twenties, a smart suit (nothing too sombre though) with heels and otherwise well groomed is appropriate.

i would go for some type of suit, either skirt or pants, sure he would prefer the skirt, simple heels no more than like 3" and if you can stand them sheer hose so you look lady like. Remember you want to look like a lady, someone he is proud to show off.

A very nice, sophisticated dress, with low heels. Just basically dress up as if you are going to a very nice restaurant.
