If your garden is enclosed (mainly) but can be overlooked from a distance but only by upstairs windows. Is it wrong to be nude in your own garden?

I'm anything but a pride, but i'm no exhibitionist either; but in this kind of freakishly hot and sunny weather i like to top up my tan.

I was laying out and heard a few whistles from a couple of girls going past my gate (gate is 8ft tall and has a car in front of it, with a 8ft wall all the way around, so not an easy eyeful).

I was about 25ft away but they obviously somehow caught an glimpse and thought it was unusual enough to warrant making a thing of.

Is it wrong to lay out nude in my private garden, or should i cover up just on the off chance it happens again.

I dont mind; its the other people i'm worried about upsetting.

JJ.

There is nothing wrong with it. I sunbathe naked with a chain link fence.

I do it all the time. Actually, I got a bit bored and went off to the corner store to buy the newspaper. Nude. That was quite fun. Then decided to take it a bit further and see how far I could push it. Next thing I was buying an air ticket at the airport, nude. I recommend it.

In your own garden you should be allowed to do whatever you chose, including nude sunbathing, especially if you cannot be seen as you describe. My husband actually got arrested for this many years ago, on the pretence of a breach of the peace ( he didnt make any noise though) but no case followed. If I was in the UK I would have no hesitation in stripping off if my garden allowed me the privacy

If your garden is overlooked then try seeking out your local naturist site. I am sure the website can give you pointers in the right direction. I think people should be able to sunbathe nude in their own garden but I don't think the victorian prudishness of British society is dead yet.

No It's not wrong.

Enjoy being nude, it IS the most natural way to be. Do not be put off by other small minded fools.

the feeling of the air on all of your body is a much more natural and terrific way to be. In the privacy of your secluded garden, go for it.

ENJOY!

If there is any chance of anyone else seeing you from anywhere... it is wrong. Not only is it wrong, but it can be considered a crime. Especially if a small child sees you and tells their parents. You could face charges of public exposure, lewd and lecivious behavior, indecent exposure... just to name a few. Keep your clothes on while you're in your garden. If you're that worried about your tan, go to a tanning bed or get one of those new spray tans... they look great and they won't give ya cancer.

I think , given the description of your garden you describe, that it's fine for you to sunbathe nude. I have a similarly provate back yard, and I swim and sunbake topless all the time, and occasionally nude. It's not as if you can be easily seen from the street.

Nude sunbathing is WONDERFUL I know BUT take care it is personal experience in the town I live in (Kalamazoo,MI,USA)that if there is mention of it seen (any nudity,topless...even fabricated sitings)in an unprotected environment (strip bar, circle of friends...)& some one want's to use this to hurt you in anyway (reputation...)this will be used. I had an experience in this religious fanatical infested town that may have led to rape/attempted murder & no justice for it(evidentally this freak infested community thought I deserved it or something crazy like this-just a chance) which led to the loss of my children w/lies later in life due to the inconclusiveness of the crime report...)I would fix the holes in the fence...This is a white womans experience in Kalamazoo,MI,USA.

I dont have a garden unluckily i have a postage stamp backyard!! i sunbathe topless in that even tho it has a horizontal fence with gaps. what i do tho is if there are children around i cover up and wait for them to go in or move away. The other thing you could do if your worried is use a windbreaker or blankets to stop others seeing, but as its your garden you should be allowed to do whatever you like in it.

Well it is your private propety so I would say go for it but I'm not sure if you could get in trouble if caught by a police officer. Cause I think there's laws against being nude in public, but I dont know if that extends to private propety....hehehe I geuss what I'm saying is it's fine as long as you dont get caught!

No nothing wrong as long as you fixed it so it would involve a little work for the neighbours to see you ie not in your face...

Then if they want to check out the view its fine.

More so the kids dont see you, but the teens boys if you are fit and female will probably want photos
