i suppose traditionally it's red, but personally i think red is too easy and boring. i would want pink and white, or lavendar and white....something that shows you put a little thought or time into finding it. if you do go with red, i'd suggest anything but the traditional red rose, meaning that you should get GIANT red roses, or mix deep red roses with white. but i think just plain old red roses are boring.

it depends on the girl. a classic girl will like red, but personally i find white ones to be the most romantic. i remember going to a performance -dance recital for my friend and two sisters and i remember when her mom asked me to pick up the roses for her from the florist and i gave them to the mother, i got some looks. but yeah it was nothing, just delivery. but white. though yellow is nice

Meaning Behind the
Color of a Rose

As one of the oldest flowers known to man, the rose carries a lot of meaning. According to legend it was created by Chloris, the Greek goddess of flowers, but of a lifeless body of a nymph which she found one day in a clearing in the woods. She asked the help of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, who gave her beauty; Dionysus, the god of wine, added nectar to give her a sweet scent, and the three Graces gave her charm, brightness and joy. Yellow! Just love them! Most romantic for me to receive since I love them.
I'm having blue roses for my wedding though. Wow!

For me, it's a combination of dark red and brilliant yellow. Such a beautiful color combination! :)

All different shades of pink is so pretty. Red is to serious and yellow isnt serious enough. So pink is perfect.

I personally like the lavender. But traditionally its red.
