Your in box is where email goes when you start getting some. And you will get plenty!

Your sent folder is where a copy of all your sent emails goes.

When you begin typing an email and you get interrupted say, you can close that email and you will be prompted by the computer "Would you like to save this email in the "Draft" Folder". Click yes and you can finish the email later by clicking on the Drafts folder and double clicking the email to re-open it, finish it and send it.

The Bulk folder is where you can store emails that are spam, etc. that you really don't care about. You can leave them there as long as you want or delete the whole lot of them.

The trash or "Deleted Items" folder is where you drag and drop an email or right click on an email and by selecting delete ends up. However to make sure you "really" want to delete an email, it stays there until you right click on the "Trash" or "Deleted Items" folder and click delete. You will then be prompted again "Are you sure you want to delete these files?" Then if you click yes, it will be a permanent action.

As for the chat rooms, you should have any troubling finding them. Open your Internet Explorer, your Home Page and in the "search field" simply type "chat" and whatever subject you want to chat about. You'll find all you can handle.

The Inbox is where your incoming mail is. You can set it up so that the newest mail incoming is on the top or on the bottom. The Draft box is where a letter that you are writing goes if you aren't finished with it yet and are not ready to send it out. You have to put it in there, though, it isn't automatic. The Sent box is a record of all the e-mails that you sent out, complete with address and content. Bulk is where the junk incoming mail will go to if you so designate it after you receive the first one from that particular sender. Also, some senders will automatically go into Bulk. The Bulk file gets deleted automatically after about 30 days, but, you can set a different time limit on it. The Trash box is where a letter goes when you delete it. This gets deleted automatically also, but, I don't remember if it is by a time limit or a numerical amount in you Trash box. All these settings can be accessed from a button on the top ( not in the toolbar, though ) called Options. It's small, on the upper right, so look around.

There are too many chat rooms to try to decribe what they are. Basically, they are a forum based on similiar topic interests. Some are in real time and text will stream through a dialog box located in the center of the screen. You would respond by typing into a box below that. Some are more of a message board that you write up a post and people can go to the chat room at see your post then respond by putting up their own message. A starting question with responses would be called a thread. To find on, oh my, there are so many ways ! You can try the Groups button on the Yahoo! homepage and find something that interests you or you can do a web search ( that means typing something into the white bar at the top of the screen ) on your favorite topic. Then, a whole bunch of possiblities will pop onto your screen. You then need to review each one to find a chat room on that topic.

Have fun !

inbox is where you get your emails at
draft is letters you have written but havent sent (you need to make sure to save them)
sent keeps a copy of all your outgoing emails - some keep for only specific amounts of time ie one week and other sites keep your sent indeffinatley.
bulk is where you get all your spam or junk email- usually from whoever is not in your address book
The only chat I'm sure about is yahoochat.com just follow the prompts create a name and then pick a category, room and then sub-room.
trash is just that you put all your read emails or junk mail into that.

in case you empty your bulk into your trash and also you probably did not delete some thing on your trash click in there and discover it you could continuously deliver it up. in case you deleted your trash , i do not imagine you ought to. i'd contact the position on the e-mail you want and perchance they can deliver you yet another good success.
