Go to the Habitat for humanity website, and follow all instructions. If you are at all eligible, there is a process, and a waiting list, beyond the fact that if accepted you will be expected to put in 50 hours of labor in the construction of the house.

Well in the first place it is habitat for humanity. Go to their web site and see if you qualify. But try getting a mortage and buying a place, you may be surprised how easy it is.
