I think so. Remember, toward the beginning of book 6, he told the Weasleys that Voldemort's followers had found a way to look and sound like others, so identify each other by passwords that only they know. Nothing else was said about it in the entire book. Notice how "Dumbledore" would never explain about his hand? Wormtail had had his hand turned to silver. I think "Dumbledore" was actually Wormtail, and the reason his hand looked the way it did was because the spell didn't work as well on the silver hand.

WOW, that's something to think about. The only answer I had before reading the rest of the answers was that he'd have a portrait in the Headmaster's office, just like all the past headmasters. But thinking about it now, that's a very good, twisted way to have Dumbledore back, and I hope its true! :]

No, I don't think so. I think Harry will think about him a lot like "What would Dumbledore do now?". He may come back in dreams, as many love ones do, but he's dead. And...remember in the last book, Harry wasn't going back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Dumbledore is connected to Hogwarts and Harry never saw him outside of the school.

I don't think he's going to be alive but Harry should be able to talk to him since his portrait will be hanging in the headmistress' office. I think that's the only way Harry is going to have any sort of contact with Dumbledore and that's even if he's allowed considering how strict Professor McGonagall is

No, when Rowling kills off a character, that person is dead. Especially when he was hit by the killing curse. In Harry Potter, you cannot bring someone back from the dead. He won't be a ghost, he isn't afriad of death. Only his shadow, like Cedric for a moment, and his inprint will be left behind.

I think he'll come back in pensieve memories and through his portrait to give Harry and the Order advice (and to prove Snape innocent) but he's dead and gone. JK Rowling has said in interviews that when someone is dead then they don't come back and that is the best approach. It takes something away from the books if dead characters, even our favourites, were to just be ressurected.

I believe that he will be somewhere in the book. It won't necessarily be a big part, or a long part, but he will be there. He almost has to be... where would Harry be without him? Maybe he will be in the portraits or in some other form... but he won't be alive.

Well i assume that u think that dumbledore is already dead.
If hes not then its a 70-30 chance

anything is possible in a book, but how/why would he come back to life and not Harry's parents? if he comes back, it would be more fitting for him to be a ghost like all the other ghosts running around hogworts.
