I did a test 2 hours ago which initially looked negative but i just looked again and theres a faint but definate line. Could I be?

The line comes up within 10 mins, after that discard the test.

ok here is a tip, if the line you see is as thick as the control line, i would call a faint line, if it is an evaporation line it will be really thin, you can actually tell if is is as thick as the other, if it is thinner it is an evaporation line. go to this website www.peeonastick.com it will tell you all about evaporation lines, anyway I did that ehith my test and i could definitely see the difference, another thing is an evaporation line will be like gray kind of and a faint line will show a little bit of pink or blue, whatever you are using, it will still be faint but it will definitely have some kind of color. your result should show within 10 minutes after 10 minutes the evaporation line will show up.

The test isn't good after half an hour or so, read the box, it should say. But take another one. If the faint line appears again, call your doc.

I would do the test again in a couple of days.
In my experience no matter how long you leave it, if you are not pregnant a line wont show up. Its the other way round. If you are pregnant the line will dissapear after a while.
It detects hormones in your wee so it cant produce a line if there are no hormones.

If you read the instructions it clearly states not to read after a said amount of time. Another line often appears when not pregnant! You read the results after 1 min what it says then it what it means! If summin else shows up later thats normal

You can be. When I was pg last time - I got the same thing. Test again in a few days. Don't keep it though - after 10 mins tear it up and chunk it. Here is an awesome site for testing. www.peeonastick.com -- HTH!!

I have had this before and not been pregnant, its usually unreliable after about 10 mins.

you an get a false negative, but not a false positive. so if the lines there you are pregnant..hope your happy.
