Depends on the community college and the courses taken, different course have different books, therefore having different prices, but as for the college credit hours themselves, the community college here is $31 a credit hour. So taking 8 classes would be $248 but add in all the lab fees and admin fees and such and it comes out to like $600. That also depends on the classes and course your taking in the Community college

well, as far as i know, community college (in canada) is slightly less expensive than universities (this may be different in the states, since it depends on what the government deems as "worthy" education as they will supplement the costs, so for instance, in canada DeVry is NOT considered an excellent educational resource so the government does not supplement students' tuition costs, so DeVry is way more expensive than university tution -- university costs are in part covered by the feds) For me, four classes plus books at a Canadian university would cost you around $2000 -- that's per semester. Of course, you need to give us more detail about where and what school! Good luck, and happy learning!

books... i would suggest buying them all from the internet b/c the bookstore charges a fortune, but really... a textbook is anywhere from $20 to over $100
