Unless of course your perfect. We all have things about our family that we wish they wouldn't do, what is it and why? With mine, my family is very down to earth, affectionate, and accepting of others but the one thing that really bothers me about them is they always try to read into things that aren't there. Like one time i brought a friend over to my grnadmothers house and my grandmother greeted her saying "hi, how are you doing? when my friend said she was "doing ok". my grand mother said "just, ok?" then whispered in my ear "Do you think she's having problems?" I'm like Grandma pleasssse get away from me... PLEASSSSSSE (lol)

As the mother of three teen boys, I get irritated (frustrated) at their normal lack of understanding of how precious time is. They sometimes turn down chances to spend time with grandparents, or do family things.
You have a grandma that has some annoying traits (she sounds lovely, btw). Cherish these days, because before you know it, you will be wishing grandma and her annoyances were still around.

It sounds like for the whole, you have a great family. Every family has faults and that's what makes them special and unique. There isn't anything you can do to change them, so just try to accept them for what they are and laugh it off. I am 48 and my mother still gives me advice about EVERYTHING. Some of it I want but most of it goes in one ear and out the other. Lighten up.

When they want to know every little detail when I'm away from them!!! For example, when I go for a trip and my mother calls, she asks me these stuff: ''What have you eaten? What are going to eat for lunch? When will you go to sleep? When did you wake up?'' Isn't it irritating??? I wish my family would respect my privacy!!! I love them, I take care about them, but most of the times they are overdoing it!!!

for me it would have to be that they are too old-fashioned, like, i can't even bring a guy over without him being a bf or something without my mom bitching about it, she's gotten a lil more used to the idea that nothing is going on and like, no one can come into my room if we're dating, no friends except for girls and my gay best friend, she's all weird, and most of my family is like that, it sux, like, they are just friends u know

most of my famil memeber never seem to learn the lesson. They accept bad behaviors from people and complain about it over and over again and do not do anything about it BUT complain. I am a woman of action and I can't stand whining and no action!! HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS PEOPLE. I mean really...do something about it or SHUT UP!!
