MTV is nothing but a disgrace. Do they actually show music on it anymore, or is it all crap like "Punk'd" these days. When it first started years ago, it was as the name said: Music TeleVision.
It then became a pop channel. I remember when MTV had top shows such as Most Wanted (with the brilliant Ray Coakes), Headbangers Ball, 120 minutes, etc. These where speciallist shows for fans of different sorts of music. MTV now is just adverts, adverts adverts and therefore, it sucks.

Load of b*llocks now. And the constant ad breaks after something like 2 songs is beyond a joke. MTV2 isn't too bad, they've got Gonzo and the occasional decent live show. But i am happy to stick to Q and Kerrang for something worth listening to.

It's all hype, and there hasn't been anything worth while to watch on there for at least the past ten years.

I think that it isn't music TV anymore it is reality TV. It is sad that they don't play as much music as they use too.

i think it's capitalism gone mad. i also like the way they pretend to be subversive, when they practically dictate the whole music industry.
