considering there are so many nations from all over the globe currently involved, with troops over here is why i would see this as starting a world war.

Strife in the Mid East existed thousands of years B.C.E. This is the norm for that part of the world.
At any given point in the history of humankind some type of war is being waged, both large and small. These wars seem closer simply because we have the means to gather information and then disseminate it more effectively and quickly as never before.
What is happening now is nothing new. It's just more "close up and personal".
I know one thing will be CERTAIN: This is gonna be a boon to the Christian Fundamentalists who never hesitate to push their fatalist view of things. Hellfire and brimstone are their bread and butter. You will see more and more of this fatalist mindset as the days wear on. What you WON'T see is the millions of dollars these groups will be raking in.
Best Wishes!

Alot of events in the past have also seemed like they were going to spark world war 3. It is just ike the cuban missile crisis, korea, vietnam, and other events of the cold war. Did they start a world war? No they did not. Though the possibility was there, alot of action was taken place to ensure that did not happen. Same with the events that are taking place now. World leaders are trying to prevent a world war 3 and resolve issues with diplomacy and only using force when necessary.

A world war is defined as a war where most of the world is involved in one way or another. I think we are heading to a worls war but with the signs of the times we must be careful how we get peace in the middle east. The man who makes seven years of peace there, meaning getting both factions to stop fighting is going to be the Anti-Christ. So do i think that we are going to be in the middle of this? yes. Do I think that the end of the world is near, Yes, because the world as we know it will be changed forever.

A lot of people are asking this. There have always been tensions in the middle east. Look at history. Not once has a world war begun as a result of their fighting. As long as there are arabs and jews, there will always be fighting. They just can't get along. So I would say, no... world war III is not starting.... 'nuff said?

If this is the prelude to the beginning of the end; what do you plan to do to survive? Is it the beginning of the Rapture? Only time will tell. But it's like standing in the middle of an earthquake where do you go and what do you do. If I were you I would live it up because you ain't got much time left.

Maybe...One wonders why Iran is stirring the sh*t pot. Seems Iran is more than willing to sacrifice the people of the region just so they can become the "leader" of the arab world. The bigger question??? Why is everyone so shocked that Isreal opened a real big can of whipa*s on hamas and hezbolah? Who are both quite willing to sacrifice their own civilians for their "holy" cause.
Islam the religion of peace....MY A*S!!!!

If the Arab couintries just left Isreal alone, ther would be no war. Remember that Egypt, Syria and Jordan all tried to invade Isreal in 1967, but Isreal pushed them all back to their borders and ever since the Arabs have been cying foul. 80 percent of the palestinians living in the "occupied zones" are from Syria and Jordan. Isreal turned a desset into a garden and all Arabs have done is remain illiterate and degrading to themselves.
