I'm not so big-headed as to require that my kind should be exalted :) ! Respected as a valid sexual orientation and, perhaps, permitted to exist in polyamorous groupings, with equal rights (for those who choose to commit to such) under law.

It is neither the solution to war nor egalitarianism. For that you would need to change human behaviour, morality, religion, politics, capitalism, global finance,...

For Stevepuff19: please don't confuse the relationship a bisexual person finds themself in, with their being bisexual. You (personally) might choose to be celibate...that wouldn't mean you're not gay.

Well I feel really good about my being a bisexual g0y. But exalted might be too strong a word. Hmmm Admired for my versatility maybe. LOL

I laugh at the fact people fight for bisexual rights. Its just a bunch of gays with too afraid to deal with the issues of fully coming out of the closet. I think it may exist, but everyone that I know that has been bisexual fits with this idea. If you really are attracted to and love both genders equally then why give yourself a label at all. If your with a woman then your straight, if youre with a man, your gay. You may only call yourself bisexual if you are allowed to cheat on your significant other. IF THIS IS THE CASE, maybe not 'exalted' but yes they should be look at as equals in the GLBT culture.

No. Today heterosexuality is exalted by society. That is the root of the problem for LBGT people! We need for humanity to the exalted, and the various sexual orientations to be just a fact of life with NO judgments.

ummm... nothing that involves sexual differences between people should be exalted. all choices should be equally valued. it makes us who we are, it makes us human to make our own decisions and except others the way they are. and i see how this has little to do with war compared to the US government and our president. i think the solution to war is to get smarter people into washington. just my oppinion.

Gee, guess it could be..along with exalting people who have blond hair and blue eyes or redheads or freckled faces....it is a matter of GENES- GENETICS- not a choice...

If people worried less about there neighbors affairs and more about their own, everybody would benefit.
