Both. If you have an object that is red then it absorbs all colors of the visible spectrum but red. If you have a white object then it reflects all colors of visible spectrum. Black absorbs all colors.
Dark colors also absorb more of the non-visible wavelengths which makes dark objects get hotter in the sun.

physics proved that it doesnt differ but the most absorber to heat is shiny things like mirror and metallic things.
