Tell your husband.

1. Don't hit back. You might escalate the situation.
2. Talk to your husband.
3. Like someone else said, get the **** out of there. There must be other places you can go, even temporarily.
4. Yeah, I'd call the cops too. This guy sounds abusive.

Number 1) tell you husband
number 2) call the police
number 3) get out of there.
Have you not got a couple of brothers that could settle this for you?
His feet wouldnt touch the ground if it was me,my brothers would kill him.
You need to tell your husband and make sure he understands what this is doing to you mentally and physically.
Get away from this man,you say you have no where to go,find some where, even a battered womans refuge.

Your father in law hits you with a belt? WHY? When he's angry??? First, tell your husband and talk to the father about it.....you could also get the authorities involved if it doesn't stop. That's ABUSE and nobody deserves that.

first off-NO-ONE should be hitting you. His father? it sounds like he's an abusive man, he must of beat his children. Maybe they fought back, and now he has lost "control" of them and is taking out his frustrations on you.
second-Report him !! it will only continue if you do not.
there are many places and organizations that could help you find adequate housing.
this guy is a jerk, you need to remove yourself from the situation, your husband, could take after his father, so it will make you feel better about yourself-if you take a stance.TELL HIM-not to touch you again !!

He has not right to hit you like that. You should talk to your husband about it and then maybe the both of you can talk to your father-in-law. Good luck! If that doesn't work, you could always hit him back.

why are you asking us? shouldn't you be telling your husband? If you can't talk to him either, then something is really wrong in your relationship. Your husband should get you out of there asap, if he won't help you, or you know he won't help you, then you need to get yourself out of there NOW, if it's happend once, it will happen again and again and again. My first husband used to hit me, then started on my children, i got out, yes i know you love him, and yes your scared, but there is life outside your world, you need to find the strength and get out. if your worried about how to contact help, call the police they will help and offer you free advice. Please don't waste your life in that sort of environment, life is short enough as it is, and you will be a lot happier in the long run. trust me, I've been there! Do you have children? if yes, then you really do need to get help, if no, do you want them around a man, like that?

Stab that funker in the throat! Did I say that? I can't believe anyone lives this way, I feel sorry for you. You do have rights, ya know? You could have him arrested. Personally I'd be ready to leave a man that would let anyone hit me. I'd leave, after I busted that old mans head open...but that's just me :)

call the police...you don't have to take that kind of behaviour from anyone...or else just belt him back HARDER. And while you're at it hit your husband too---he shouldn't be allowing this.
