Do you know how a baby is inside the mother's tummy with water? Would it be o.k. to have a water birth? The baby being born into the tub. Is this what you're asking? I think people do this a lot. You have to have a nurse/midwife present in case there is a problem. Do not give birth at home alone with no help.
