In my humble opinion Alan Partridge is the best. However he isn't coming bouncing back again. I think Tommy Saxondale is a fantastic character though!

Alan Partridge, but saxondale is still ok, especially the anger management bits at the start.

ooohh saxondale has REALLY grown on me.. where as A.P had practically no redeem features as a character.. saxondale may well be flawed, but he's a lot more likeable easier to identify with.. i think given a couple of series saxondale could be much better than A.P. taking into account steve coogan had been doing A.P. in various guises for a long time before tv.. so a LOT more time to develop him..
