It sucks here. It used to be good...ya know, like after the Civil War and all, but before the 1920's...We tried to save ourselves with the 60's...but no... and then the 90's came along and took away all hope...those of us with intelligence plan on fleeing to Australia or Canada...

Ok, we do have some good things going for us, like were mostly free, and have like...well...ya.

If I had more money, and didn't love the beauty of the land in some areas, I'd leave with no plans of ever returning. Sometimes I think the government is so far gone that only a coup would get the US on track. Not sure if any mortal human could just get things going well by taking an office. Seems one office can ruin a country, but one office can't fix the whole thing. Funny how checks and balances work, or don't.

Well, I can't say anything bad for fear of being labeled "unpatriotic" by some. America has it's problems. Ever since Bush took office, it's gone downhill. People actually think going along with the government and not questioning anything makes you patriotic. That's sad, but it's actually scary. You should never stop questioning your government. I think America is a bully sometimes to other countries. Americans, themselves, tend to be a little arrogant at times. I love my country, though and can't wait until Bush is out of office and just pray that we don't elect someone just like him in 2008.

I am American,so a little biased but fairly so...All countries have flaws as we do,but in general I think its a great country to live in..Being a super power we have plenty of enemies and people who misunderstand us,but we stand united on most issues we face..I wouldnt want to be anywhere else on earth than here,in America!

OUR COUNTRY is going down in a shithole because we are running deep into trillions of dollars in debt..then all our kids are dropping out of high school and all the high paying technical jobs are being outsourced to low paying workers in China and India. I am a believer of miracles and America somehow always prevails through turmoil.

Since I was born here and lived here my whole life, I would say it's great and I have no complaints. It's not perfect, but I doubt it's perfect anywhere. I got a good education and a good job. I've worked hard and done well for myself. Like everywhere else we have good people and bad people and some really idiotic people. I think we're pretty normal....just as you are.

Like 97% of the others, corrupt from top to botton and doesn't really care what happens to it's people. Yup I live here, from big cities to small towns(lived for 5 years in one of 2 stop lights) some of the cities were just less bad. Just makes you say, AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!
